WHY "LIU'":

I call my leotards with the names of female opera characters, written by Italian composers for now. I am inspired more by their character than by the style than their stage dress. Most of the operas were set in similar eras, the necklines they wore were more or less the same.

LIU' is a young slave in the opera "Turandot" written but left unfinished by Giacomo Puccini. The story of this opera is one of my favorites! She is a faithful servant, she represents good feelings, dedication and pure love, without compromise, without demands. She is the one who makes Turandot falter (the ice princess), she is the one who shows her what love is. 

The Leotard

A classic cut that embraces a modern style, the Liù model was designed by Ryna to highlight the feminine harmonic lines with elegance. This modern mock turtleneck leotard from Ryna collection features a contrasting transparent insert, a moderate back with a pinched detail, and snap closures at the neck for easy on and off.
